We are located right next to the Balboa Island Ferry at 504 South Bay Front Newport Beach, CA 92662. Our phone number is (949) 603-3020. We are open 7 days a week from 10:00am-5:00pm PST.

Our dock is located on Balboa Island. Street parking is available however during certain times of the year there is traffic to get to our dock, we do not have a parking lot or structure. We recommend arriving to the island at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time. Please make sure to be ready to board 15 minutes prior to your departure time.  Allow additional time prior to your reservation to board the vessel if you have coolers or decorations. Returns to the dock greater than 15 minutes past the scheduled return time may be charged a late fee based on the rate of $150.00 per hour. Your trip is based on your scheduled departure time on the confirmed reservation. Late departures do not extend the return time past your scheduled return time on your confirmed reservation.

Our boats will seat up to 12 passengers including the captain. This includes infants and children.

If you choose to rent the boat on your own without one of our drivers then yes, experience is required. You must be 21 years old with a valid CA drivers license. Our boats are 25 ft. long and much wider than the more common electric boats you may see on the harbor or have had experience renting in the past.

If you choose our optional driver add on then no boating experience is required. Our experienced driver will take care of everything for you. You must be 18 years or older to book a reservation with a driver and valid CA ID or DL is required.

Yes, You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Note that the captain may not be under the influence of alcohol while driving the boat. You are responsible for removing all trash and any decorations prior to disembarking and the conclusion of your rental.

Yes, you may decorate the boat however you are responsible for removing all decorations prior to return of the boat. We do not allow use of tape or adhesives that may cause damage to the exterior of the vessel. Mylar balloons are prohibited in Newport Harbor and on our boats. Note that any damage to the vessel related to the installation or removal of decorations may result in forfeiture of the security deposit.

Yes, public restrooms are available near the dock.

Cancellations requests less than 5 days prior to the confirmed reservation will be issued a credit voucher towards a future rental.

Cancellation requests greater than 5 days prior to the confirmed reservation will be issued a refund back to the original form of payment.

Same day cancellations  are considered a no-show and no refund or credit voucher for future rental are issued.

Cancellations by Marcwest.us, LLC due to inclement weather or any operational unforeseen circumstances will be issued a full refund to the original form of payment.

Yes, Adult life jackets are located underneath your seats. California law requires that children under age 13 must wear a life jacket at all times while on board. We include all required safety equipment, documentation and instructions for USCG compliance.

For the safety of your passengers and your pets, animals are not allowed on board. Service animals are allowed with documentation.
